Empowering Connections for a Brighter Future
Research consistently shows that a lack of belonging is one of the strongest predictors of people leaving their jobs. Studies by BetterUp, Deloitte and McKinsey all highlight belonging as a critical factor in retention and wellbeing.

The Inclusion Hub Exchange is for everyone who shapes the built and natural environment we all rely on; whether you are early career or experienced, studying, apprenticing, working, contracting, freelancing, managing people, between jobs, on parental leave, caring leave, a career break or a sabbatical. Engineers, digital artists, hydrogeologists, project managers, planners, lawyers, administrators and every role in between. If this industry is part of your story in any way, you are welcome here.
We create trusted, psychologically safe online spaces where people across the industry can speak openly about their experiences, challenges and aspirations.
We focus on the issues that truly shape working lives. Supporting retention, wellbeing, culture and skills shortages by making space for honest conversations that are too often overlooked.
Our purpose is simple.
To promote inclusive cultures and create a built environment where people can stay connected, grow and thrive together.
Through support, advocacy and education, we help people feel seen, valued and connected. By bringing hidden or systemic barriers into the open, we help the industry learn, adapt and build healthier, more inclusive workplaces for everyone.
Our Hubs
Our Hubs are confidential peer‑support online spaces created in response to lived experience, emerging needs and challenges across the built environment.
They exist to provide:
- Psychologically safe, dignified online spaces for sharing and learning.
- Flexible support that adapts to the realities of today’s workforce.
- Practical, bottom‑up solutions to cultural challenges.

- Insights that can be escalated to inform the wider industry and mobilise change.
